I’m trying to get tag values from a TP900 Siemens panel via OPC-UA. Connection is established.
The tag values are visible in the Gateway Quick Client, Tag Quality is Good.
When i add the tags in the project no values are displayed. Is there a difference in handling the tags via the quick client and via the project?
What version of Ignition are you using?
When you browse the nodes the Quick Client are you reading or subscribing to the values (or neither)?
When you drag tags from the OPC browser to Tag browser in the designer you’re adding tags to a subscription (by default). If something is going wrong with subscriptions that could be why the QC appears to work but you get bad values in the designer.
