In the notification block in a pipeline for an email or voice profile you can override the message by defining a custom message in the alarm properties of a tag. Is there a way to do this for an SMS profile ? There is no SMS setting in the alarm properties for an override that I see.

Also can you embed a tag in the message area in the notification block?

Question 1: No, there’s no way to do this right now. It can probably be added though. Note that these custom messages can only be used when consolidation is not enabled, so your notification volume will potentially increase.

Question 2: You can get the value of the tag that triggered an event by referencing {eventValue} in your expression.
