Omron NJ Driver connection issue

Hopefully its a me issue.
I have a NX1P2-9024DT1 Omron PLC behind a Phoenix Contact NAT.
Local IP address of the PLC is 192.168.250.1, address of the NAT local, is 192.168.250.254, PLC has GW set to 192.168.250.254.
I can connect to the PLC from the "wan" side of the NAT, can online edit etc no issues.
Omron NJ Driver is setup with all default values except the Hostname is the IP address of the PLC on the "wan" side.
NJ driver shows idle without tags configured.
When I add a string tag, (set to Publish Only) I get a Error reading 1 items. Connection times out and retries.
I also tried with an integer to see if its a string value. No luck.
Omron driver version is 4.1.44

Thank you

It was a me thing.

Seems I had to set up routing to get the Nat working.
Not sure if this is of use to anyone. But.
Its a Phoenix Contact FL NAT 2008.
I tired using wireshark to see what was happening. Looked like the packets were getting lost in the ether. See up a next hop route on the NAT. Bingo, started working.
