Only allow 1 instance of an alarm at once

Hello! I am using ignition's alarming and perspective for our system. My users have complained about how single alarm can have multiple instances. Its too complex for our purposes. We just need to know if an alarm's condition has been reached.

Is it possible for alarms to not create multiple instances?

A few things to check:

You probably have the alarm set to manual acknowledgement and the default live event value of 5, so you could be displaying 5 of the "same" alarm.
