Coming from Wonderware and FactoryTalk I have noticed that some tag connections from Wonderware or FactoryTalk use all caps for tags that are not actually all caps and then when I “move” the tag connection over to Ignition it won’t connect because the name doesn’t match exactly.
Has anyone else experienced this? I’d venture to guess that the OPC standard is case sensitive but the older software may have chosen to ignore that?
