I’m having a problem with connecting Ignition’s OPC DA to Siemens Simit OPC DA Server.
The status between Ignition and the DA Server will say connected until try to create OPC tags. Every time I try to drag or add an OPC tag manually that is connected to the Simit OPC DA Server the connection begins to flash between closed and connected every couple of seconds. If I remove the OPC tag I created and delete the connection to Simit DA Server then add the connection again, the connection to Simit displays a status of connected without flashing between closed and connected.
The only error messages I get is when I click on the OPC tag I created that displays the following error messages:
