Trying to connect to 3rd Party OPC-UA Server. (GE Cimplicity).
I have trusted Ignitions Client Certificate on the Server.
Do I need to install the server certificate onto Ignition.
It faults out with “The user identity token is valid but the server has rejected it.”
Did you configure a username and password for the connection?
I did.
Normal credentials I use to connect locally.
What does this mean? The same credentials for windows? the Ignition OPC UA connection?
Normal credentials for GE Cimplicity Login.
Well… the server either isn’t expecting a username and password at all, or it’s returning the wrong StatusCode to indicate you’ve got the wrong username and/or password.
