Is it possible to connect to OPC UA server without certificate?
I get connection 'faulted' when I try to.
Security mode = None
Security policy = None
I also try disable (uncheck) - Security - Certificate Validation Enable, still faulted.
I am able to connect using uaexpert by accepting below:
Are you trying to connect to Ignition's default OPCUA Server?
No, I am connecting to another server. Ignition will be the client.
There's an advanced setting on OPC UA connections to disable certificate validation, you can give that a try.
The only configuration where certificates aren't checked at all (I think), is when you have no security and are using an anonymous identity instead of username/password.
