Continuing the discussion from Delay in tag update for tags that are using driven type scan class:

I have a customer on v7.9.18 that I think may be suffering from the global batching of writes problem. Was the fix in v8.1.3 mentioned in the linked comment backported to the v7.9 series? And if so, which?

This doesn’t apply to Ignition 7.9 and prior, it’s all new code from the 8.0 tag system refactoring.
