I am trying to integrate external AVEVA PI OPCUA connector with Ignition OPCUA server.
We are able to connect and browse succesfully but PI OPCUA connector is not able to auto-discover any new tag/device addition to the subscribed folder.
AVEVA PI team has asked to enable “GeneralModelChangeEventType” in the OPCUA server, but I cannot find this option anywhere in the Ignition OPCUA server settings. Can anyone help finding this option? I am using 8.1 Ignition .

This option / feature doesn't exist. There is not currently a mechanism you can use to be notified when tags are added/removed.
You should, however, see changes when re-browsing the server. You can confirm this much with any external OPC UA client.

We would like to implement auto discovery; we want to avoid manual re-browsing every time there is a new device. Do I understand correctly that Ignition doesn’t support this option yet ?

Okay, is it planned for any upcoming releases? It seems like an important core feature of OPCUA
I can create a feature request/ticket for it, but no it's not currently planned. Nobody has asked for this until now.
