I’m wondering if there is a way I can or if I should have issues when trying to open a gateway hosted on a Windows server from a Macbook client? I’m currently trying to open the gateway at work from my Macbook client and receiving timeout errors.
Any ideas?
Does your laptop have access to your work’s network? Can you ping the ip address of the Ignition Server?
One thing that happens to me often is the Gateway that my clientlauncher is pointing to is incorrect.
Once you are sure the IP address of the Ignition Server is reachable by your computer, make sure your have that address here:
Yes, I can ping it. I use the network utility from the Macbook utilities.
