I have a logger I’m experimenting with / putting together that runs the open62541 client. I’d like to connect to the Ignition OPC-UA server so I can nab a couple tags from the PLC and log the data changes.
I want to do this external of the Ignition client. Is it possible to connect an external client to the OPC server?
If yes, how do I do so?
I saw some old threads on this subject that gave mixed signals. In order to avoid thread necromancy on an 8 year old question, I figured I would start a new topic.

EDIT: Of course I found the answer right after posting. Changing the listen address from localhost to the IP of the machine makes it work.
