We are currently reading data from an IEC 61850 relay through the edge server. The CID file is registered on the edge, and the tags are registered on the Ignition server without being registered on the edge server.
I would like to know the differences between this configuration and registering the tags on the edge server and then setting up the Ignition server with a remote tag provider.
