Opto Groov Epic PR2 - Ignition Edge - Data sync not working

I am having issues with the data sync portion of the Ignition Edge on the Opto22 groov epic. For some reason after deleting the database on the master Ignition gateway side, and then reconnecting the system to a new database, the data sync (store & forward) system is broken. I tried resetting the sync id, but it has stayed frozen at 0 since the reset. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have already rebuilt the master database, tried to reconnect the historical tag provider, re-enabled the data sync on the Edge side multiple times.

Did you give the new database the same connection name as the old one? If not, try that first. (I don't recall anyone reporting anything like this. You may need to open a support ticket.)

Yes, I have tried both giving it the same name as before and a different name. Neither of them worked. I wish there was more to the diagnostic for Data sync on the edge side. It is very bare-bones
