I have an opto22 server running on my ignition server. I have made the connection with the opto22 server using the opc-ua database connection and have an .idb file loaded on the server but I am not seeing any tags in ignition. I have done this before using an .otg file and it works great. Can i not scan an .idb file extension or what am I doing wrong?
Do you mean you have an OPC connection an opto22 server from Ignition?
Either way - the .otg and .idb files are not something Ignition knows anything about. Perhaps they let the opto22 server know what nodes should be available for browsing by OPC clients?
