Other ways to get tag‘s values from S7-300

Hello, I want to link a S7-300PLC,and create some tags in the tag browser ,actually only two tags ,one is “outfeed count” another is “linestate”, when I ask for the tags’s address from the customers ,they told me there is no tag defined as “outfeed count” & “linestate”, they said they have a database to stone all the materials and product counts , can we get tags value from database,or using some other way？
