Out of the blue, yesterday, all of my users started getting outofmemoryerror java heap space errors when they try and launch the program.
We restarted the ignition service, rebooted the server, along with the client computers.
What could be causing this error?
Did somebody change the amount of memory the client starts with?
No, that has not been changed.
Is there a startup script or something else that would be running right after the client starts that is now doing something different (making a huge query, reading a file that’s too big, etc…)?
Support might be able to help you poke around remotely and figure out what’s going on a little easier.
