Packet loss / port forwarding

Hi All,

I have some issues with possible packet loss when launching a new client trough a port forwarded firewall rule. I forward only port 8088, which I believe should be sufficient. After some retries its still possible to get it going, getting me to thinking its not a firewall issue but something else in the network.

Any one solved a issue like this before?

Office network → firewall → ignition network, all wired.

Install Wireshark, watch the traffic, prove to your IT group they’re mucking things up?

If it’s genuinely flakey - sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t, that’s pretty much a given about the state of the network.
