Testing a project on a rpi 4 64 bit running Ignition Edge gateway 8.1.7. Trying to use the WebDev module to mount a folder for a pdf to be used with a Perspective view with a pdf viewer. Since I can’t run the designer on the pi, when I browse to the folder I want to mount all I see are the local folders of the computer hosting the designer launcher. This won’t be available in a production environment. Suggestions? I’ll forward your comments to your mother…
Unfortunately, the browser from the Designer does indeed only show files local to the computer running the Designer. The path for a mounted folder does need to be the path on the Gateway. You should be able to just type in that desired path residing on your Pi (e.g. /opt/public/ or wherever you’ve placed your files) and save it.
