Not necessarily an Ignition specific issue, but recently our IT Department rolled out a permissions management system so that they didn’t just give people blanket admin rights to their machines. The system has kinda proven to be a mess in terms of using the designer or installing Ignition for our projects.It often seems to block the installation of services or opening of dependant programs/processes within the designer.
Anyone have similar issues? Or have a good approach to working through this? I’m tempted to just move all my programming to a VM where I can manage my permissions.
