Ignition v8.1.7 (b2021060314)
Java: Azul Systems, Inc. 11.0.11

Has anyone come across this before? I can open a new designer instance and save just fine in that designer until the issue occours again.

Thank you

This started happening to me again today.

I was in the designer for maybe 10 minutes.

It seems that if i restart the gateway it doesn’t occur again for awhile but that could just be coincidence.

Do you use a VPN or anything to get connected to your gateway?
The stacktrace in your first post doesn’t really make sense to get after you’re already in a project; it’s saying that the project you’re currently editing doesn’t exist, but is a successful round-trip to the gateway.

Yeah I use a VPN to get into our corporate network and my designer launcher is pointed to the hostname of the gateway.

I haven’t had this problem until recently, so I thought it might have had to do with updating to 8.1.7 but i guess it’s entirely possible our IT department changed something on the VPN side

Same Question I Meet,How to project not found

I haven't run into this in any time recently... Not sure if it got fixed with an Ignition version upgrade (we're on 8.1.28) or if we worked with our IT department to fix it... I can't remember
