Perspective 8.3 - Copy and Paste - Needs Some TLC - Missing Properties, Objects Out of Order

I wanted to see if I was missing any modifiers that can make copying and pasting easier?

Without a modifier key to start the selection lasso wherever you want, and without the option to toggle between the crossing versus encompassing lassos, it is difficult to grab what you need. Inevitably, something is in the way, preventing you from starting the lasso from your preferred direction.

When copying objects that are specifically layered, they are often pasted with their Z order jumbled. You then have to manually bring certain objects to the front or back to fix it. If you manually select the objects in the correct order first, they paste successfully. However, it would be highly beneficial if lassoing multiple objects respected their relative layering.

Copied parameters are sometimes not respected. I am seeing this frequently with Flex containers that have their height/width set to auto. When you paste a copy, it defaults to zero, making the object invisible. In a view with a large number of objects, it can be a task to track down the pasted object just to set the parameter back to auto so it can be seen.

Object handlebars also make it difficult to align items. It would be great to have a modifier key to temporarily hide them, similar to how the Alt key suppresses alignment lines and snapping. If you select more than one object before copying, which allows you to paste and position them without the handlebars getting in the way.

There is currently no way to visually scale objects while locking their aspect ratio. In most standard vector-based applications, holding a specific modifier key ensures the height and width remain strictly proportional during a resize. Currently, it sems Perspective only utilizes the Shift key, which keeps the object's anchor point centered while resizing but does not lock the proportions. It would be incredibly helpful if a modifier key (such as CTRL or ALT) was implemented to maintain an object's aspect ratio while scaling it.

Being able to group objects or create folders inside the views would be very helpful. Without adding extra containers and their properties.

Standard Windows options like "Select All" (CTRL+A) that select child objects, without selecting the root and highlighting the ruler, would be nice.

The new perspective vector drawing tool also could use most of these options. It even has some of the same options but then uses different keys.
