im looking for some help on creating an audible alarm on a client PC.
When i have an active or unack alarm i would like the PC to play a sound to notify the user.
Is this something i could do in perspective and if so how would i do it

I’ve used the audio component for this in the past, but it is easy to defeat if you’re worried about the operator muting the PC or browser

And it is impossible to make this ‘foolproof’.
Because of the history of malicious/obnoxious ads, regular browser tabs really don’t want to autoplay sounds, especially while in the background, and give end users the ability to override.
So what would be the recommended way to do this, if the perspective Audio is not a secure way to do it?
A PLC output would be the best.
If the Perspective screen is not beside a PLC then consider adding a micro PLC and write to it from Ignition.
