Copying dozens of components will freeze the designer. It appears that the time of freeze is exponential with the number of components copied, from seconds to more then one hour. And it used all 4G memory.
What Ignition version are you using?
8.1.5 on windows 10. I noticed this in 8.1.3 but didn’t realize it was a bug at the time.
