Perspective Docked View Hover

I'm trying to set a good design for my navigation menu, but running into an issue...
Right now I've put my Corner Priority to left-right, because I want my docked view to hover the full height of my screen.

However, when opening the docked view it pushes away my north Header. I would like it to hover the north view as well, as it does with my primary view.

Maybe I'm missing some simple setting here?
Any way that I would be able to hover the upper header with my left docked view?

I don't think you can. That would mean the 2 docks are overlapping.

Why do you want that ?

Well in my opinion, it doesn't look that clean.
Opening a dock and pushing the other dock away gives a strange effect when being on a phone.

When looking at most other apps, opening the left dock hovers the whole screen instead.

I'd give priority to the north dock then.
If it's always there but the west one isn't, then north should probably have priority.

Overlapping the north dock would cover your menu icon, which is not ideal...

To be fair, I would actually prefer that.

That way I could make a 'back' icon/button in my west dock at the place my original menu button was located.
Makes it more intuitive to close the menu instead of now pressing the same menu icon somewhere in the middle top.

Example of such application:

I'd give priority to top/bottom, and change the menu icon to the arrow when the dock is opened.

Or make your west dock a modal popup.
