Perspective Icon controlled by Tag Value

Hi there,

I am pretty new to ignition. Trying to build a page where there are icons to indicate if the machines are on or off depending on a Boolean Tag Value.

I've seen posts that describe how to use button inputs to write to a tag, but wondering if there are ways to do the other way around.

All I really want to do is to have a dot (small circle), having green or red to indicate the status of the machine, based on the tag value of the machine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Binding background color on perspective label

I assigned a color to the background color and then was able to add binding…so far so good Although the backgroundColor label in the props drop down changes color correctly when I change the tag value, the label itself does not change color. Turning Styles on/off Perspective

I'm trying to tie fill colors and styling to labels based on a boolean. For example an opc tag "pump_run status" = true ... I'd like the background fill color of a label to go green. I'm not able to turn the style on/off or tie this condition to background-color. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
