Perspective - looking for list of known limitations or issues to avoid?

Wondering if there's a technical bulletin or a guide on things that should be avoided when developing in perspective? I've heard offhand there are issues to avoid like embedding views within views within views more than 3 layers deep but haven't been able to find this documented.

I searched for best practices on here and found some links to the high performance hmi guides and style techniques, which are handy design/style wise but don't really talk much about if there are any technical limitations or things to avoid to save headache down the road.
