I’m wondering if this is expected behavior or something I’m missing that I need to update.
I have two Ignition gateways, gatewayA is located at a facility that is connected to the field devices and hosts it’s own project then gatewayB runs on an AWS instance with gatewayA set up as a remote tag provider and is running the same project copied over.
When I RDP into gatewayB on the AWS instance I notice that viewing the perspective screens on gatewayA via browser loads significantly faster than the browser pointed locally to gatewayB. Why would it not load quickly directly on the local system? This is causing some performance issues related to slow loading of screens and occasionally parameters not loading properly into objects but it appears to only be sessions pointed at gatewayB and not gatewayA
Perspective pointed at gatewayA loads reliably in 1 second or less while a session pointed locally to gatewayB takes 2-3 seconds
