Perspective - Native Mobile Action Requested in non-mobile client - Barcode Scan

Hello,

So, I have a perspective application running on a tablet (Microsoft surface) there is a page that requires the barcode which would use the tablets camera to scan the barcode. I get this error in the web browsers inspect element and have noticed this does not work in the 'perspective workstation' client either.

Is there some way to make the tablet recognizable mobile or is this not supported?

Microsoft surface isn't running Android or iOS, so it isn't mobile. Perspective Workstation may eventually support this, but I haven't seen any progress reports on camera support in quite a while.
