Hi,
I am using Perspective on a Zebra TC22 Android handheld device (no, I'm not trying to blow up Mars :). When I call up my app on my production server, it works fine. When I call up the app on my test server it says I am not licensed. I have the exact same URL I use on my computer, which works.
Is there something else I am missing?
Thanks
Thanks
Does your test server gateway have a valid license applied or is it unlicensed with an expired trial timeout?
It is a valid license. I don't have a problem with any other means of accessing it. And I just checked this - if I go to the application through the web browser on the android, it runs fine. It is only when running through the app.
Yet, through the app I can run the production version on a different server.
It works this way on multiple devices.
"License: partial"
That means you have at least one module installed for which you are not licensed. You should prune your installed modules to not include the ones you didn't buy.
(The installer includes a whole bunch of modules, some that are not commonly purchased.)
I just reset the trial and the android is working now. I will wait a couple hours and see if it returns, then prune my modules as appropriate. Thanks
Config => System => Modules will show you which ones are trial versus activated.
Thanks. By the way, I don't know if I had a spurious test or was just testing wrong, but I'm still in the same situation - test app on test server won't work on android, but prod does.
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, same thing. Just on the one server
