Perspective: Overriding Symbol CSS definitions

How would I override the symbols.css theme definitions such as:

  • variable values (colours, e.g. --symbolFill–running)
  • keyframes

I’ve tried adding these same definitions into my custom theme css however it doesn’t seem to override the original definition.

I think at the time I had the imports around the wrong way in my custom css. I imported my custom index.css and then imported the light.css (instead of the other way around), so the light.css was overriding my settings. I didn’t end up ever using the smart symbols, so I dont know if this worked for these or not
