I’m not able to change the tooltip text.
It just shows the same text as the labels, which is quite meaningless…
Is there a way to Script this ?
I’ve searched everywhere, but I can’t find it.

Was told by support, that this feature simply isn’t implemented on Ignitions side.
The piechart supports this, but they we’re not sure when or if this would be implemented.
I’ts not possible via scripting either.
Consider making a feature request at ideas.inductiveautomation.com. That’s the best way to keep the idea from being forgotten.
