Power chart interpolates between values so when a comm is down, we end up getting a slowly decreasing line when really it should’ve nulled out. Any updates? Ideas?

In 8.1.19 it still happens. I was wondering where I got all those changing values until I came across with posts about interpolation.

You need to set interpolation to “step after” and then set your historical logging to discrete, not analogue.

Power chart, are trends always interpolated?

A prerequisite for using curvestepAfter, is that the measurement has to bee stored with a discrete Deadband Style: [image] If not you get these: [image]

I'm not sure how it supposed to work because an analog sensor is not discrete and it also doesn't have the behavior that the power chart is drawing by default. I wonder why there aren't more posts about it
