Perspective Project Pages Not Appearing After Upgrading Ignition and Restoring 8.1.44 Backup

Hello,

I recently updated my Ignition installer from 8.1.44 STABLE to 8.1.55 STABLE. After the update, I restored a gateway backup that was created from the 8.1.44 version.

When I open the Designer Launcher and load my project, The Perspective module does not appear.

Has anyone encountered this issue when restoring an older gateway backup on a newer Ignition version? Is there a recommended procedure to migrate Perspective projects safely between these minor versions?

Check the designer console for errors

I don’t think 8.1.55 is out yet. Maybe you did upgrade to 8.3.x? In 8.3 jxbrowser was updated and you might need to clean the cache.
