Perspective table column filter with rendered view and date type

I have a perspective table with a date column that I would like to render as a view. If I enable the column filter, it uses a number data type instead of date.

If I select "date" or "auto" (without specifying a viewPath) as the render type, the column filter works fine. All other data types work fine when rendering as view.

I have tried both dataset and JSON for the table data with the same results.

The column's view in this example is just a simple label that displays the value parameter passed in from the table data. My actual use case is more complex, but I wanted a simple example to show this potential bug.

Some things worth mentioning. We do our best to determine the filter type of the column when the render mode is set to "auto". This is easy to do when the data is a dataset type, but a little trickier when it is an array of JSON objects. In this case, you may want to specify the render mode. If render mode is set to "view", we use the same method to detect the filter type, as if it were "auto" .

I am using Ignition version 8.1.44.
