Perspective Table Column Lock

Is there any way to lock a column in place in a perspective table for horizontal scrolling?

I have a table with a lot of columns in it that requires a horizontal scroll bar, I would like to have one of the first few columns locked in place so that when you scroll to the right, it doesn't disappear.

Any suggestions on how to get that done?

Use a second table with only a single column, line it up with the other table, and use selection data and/or scripting to populate the column with the data you want to be locked.

What will happen if a cell wraps on one of the tables? Pager? Vertical scrolling?

Perspective Table Sticky Column

It is a bit painful, but if you are in a pinch, you can create your own custom table via the View Canvas component. Even though it doesn't give it as an option, it will honor the position: sticky for the templates inside of the canvas (credit to @victordcq with this post). I ended up having to go this route - but I will add that I found it was a steep learning curve to get to a solution that looked "good" and was performant.
