I am using Ignition 8.1.12 and i have the following problem, never seen before, already tested restart the gateway, restart the module, create a new project but always the same problem in perspective.
Vision works fine so I have connection to the gateway
Did you ever find a solution to this issue?
It was the port of the PC were we were using the designer. First we changed Ignition port from 8088 to 7079 and it worked, but as Ignition was always runing it wasnt the port on the gateway, we found out it was an ifm software installed on that PC that was using the port 8088.

Thank you for the reply. My issue also seems to be intermittent. I'll run a netstat next time the issue occurs to try to rule out any other processes conflicting with the designer.
