Perspective Workstation Performance

Hi gurus,

I've been working on a fairly large Ignition Perspective project for a customer of ours and I am now in the testing phase. To date I have been working in the designer and Chrome Browser and i am happy with the performance in Chrome. However, the intent was always to move to Workstation run in Kiosk mode when we finally roll this out.

I have only recently gotten around to actually testing this and I have noticed that page load times in Workstations are significantly slower than in the Chrome Browser ( roughly 2 x the load time ).

I have searched the forum's and this does not seem to be a commonly reported issue so does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

We are having the same problem here... I was Looking for answers but it seams we are the only ones.

I am also having the same problem. Animations in workstation are choppy, but smooth in a chrome browser

Have you tried updating to 8.1.44? That version brought in an updated version of the Chromium browser used within Perspective Workstation with much improved performance.
