Perspective Workstation system commands doesn't work

Hello all,

I’m just starting using Ignition for a simple project in order to learn new system for me. But I get stuck.

I tried to make some buttons for switching Workstation into full screen mode, and also button for closing Runtime on the Android device. They both don’t work and I don’t understand why.

system.perspective.workstation.toKiosk()

system.perspective.workstation.exit()

I tested it with Maker edition installed in Synology Container, and also with Perspective installed on Windows 11 in Synology Virtual Machine.

Are there any additional requirements for system commands, or for setup the Gateway ?

The following functions offer various ways to interact with Perspective Workstation from a Python script. Note that the functions here only work when called from a session running in Perspective Workstation.

Workstation is not available on Android, I think you might be confused in the terminology of what you are actually running. On Android/IoS it is a separate app.
