The gateway makes the connection to the PLC, not the designer. Can you ping from the gateway to the PLC? What firmware is in the PLC? (If >20, you are using the wrong driver.)

This is a question about your logix version. What version of RSLogix and/or Studio are you using? Depending on this, you will want to change which driver version you apply. Rockwell changed their driver interface around the 20/21 version split.

I'm currently using studio 5000 V32.01 And my plc is 5380 compact logix (5069-L330ER)
