POP3 Alarm acknowledgement?

Hi There - what’s the trick to getting POP3 Alarm Acknowledgement working? I can’t seem to find any info on it other than how to set up. I do see when I receive an alarm email now I get a Pop3AckID # but what do I do with that? I tried a simple reply and I tried a reply where I copied the Pop3AckID into the subject line.
