We are using pre-processed partitions of 60 seconds to reduce the CPU burden when displaying plots with long time periods.
The connection to the database faulted for unknown reasons and then the pre-processed partitions stopped processing. The data in the pre-processed partition table stops at the same time the database faulted.
My co-worker then turned off pre-processed partitions.
Is there are risk to turning them back on?
Will it go back and process the last month in which the partitions have been turned off?
If I change the partition size will it only take effect from that moment forward?
