Is there any known way to stop multiple perspective workstation sessions from opening.
It seems the operators like to open multiple sessions through the launcher.
There doesn't appear to be a way to auto close the launcher or to restrict this simply.
*I dont want to do anything with on launch killing sessions etc.
Do they need to use the client device for anything else? If not you could use kiosk mode
There's no way to do this within Workstation itself (other than kiosk mode as Amy mentioned) but you can certainly script something outside Ignition to do this, at the OS level. If you're on a Windows system, consider AutoHotKey.
It looks like they are still using Chrome for some other tasks on that computer, so kiosk wouldn't be appropriate. It might be best to create a shortcut on the desktop for the project that they use and remove any shortcuts for the launcher. This way there is only one button to press to get to their project.
