If you’re having trouble browsing your PLC tags with RSLinx it might be because RSLinx is set to run as an application instead of a service and FactorySQL is running as a service.
To correct go to Start Menu->Rockwell Software->RSLinx->RSLinx Launch Control Panel and check “Always Run As Service”. Click the stop button then the start button.
