Problem logging string into historian

Hi all,

I’m having a problem with an OPC string tag which I’m logging into the database via Ignition history. The problem is that ignition doesn’t detect any change in the tag although the tag is being updated every 2 or 3 seconds. In the log in the database, I can only see a data logged every 5 min which is the maximum sample time I have set. Anyone got a suggestion ? It’s a timestamp (btw Ignition can’t recognize it, so I let it as a string).

I don’t why but if I create a derived tag from the OPC tag with the exact same settings, it is working
