Problems connecting to new OPC server

I am having problem connecting to a new OPC server that we have set up. It is a Kepware server.

I have gone through the configuration, and verified that the IP address, security policy, and message security mode are correct. I have installed the trusted client certificate on the server.

I keep getting the error java.net.connectexception: Connection Refused: connect.

Any ideas?

This error is happening at the TCP level. It’s like that you have either the wrong port, the wrong IP address, or a firewall is blocking your connect attempt.
