Project selection from `Platform > Projects` is unclear

I’m trying to disable a couple projects and I thought if I select their check box then I could disable them as a batch. There doesn’t seem to be any action I can take once they are selected.

Why are there checkboxes?

Am I missing something? I feel like I am.
