Can Ignition transmit previously recorded values to a database to another server via protocol IEC 60870-5-104. Is it possible to do this using some other software. I am collecting data from the PLC using ignition using Modbus protocol and I need to transfer data to the server using IEC 60870-5-104.
Ignition does not have any support for 60870, I think you’d have to use another piece of software, but I don’t have any recommendations.
Based on the security issues mentioned on Wikipedia, there’s probably no significant market for a software vendor to pursue:
