I am having a Query tag that is supposed to update on a fixed rate, but the reality is that the timestamp is not changing and also the value is not being updated.
What can be happening? the DB connection is Valid and the query works on the DB query browser.

It looks like your datasource connection string is not parsing the parameter {num} ?
Yes it is, in fact, if I update the query manually it works fine, the thing is, that it is not being updated on a fixed rate
The general advice is to contact support - this is a kind of problem that's difficult to troubleshoot effectively asynchronous via the forums.
That said, the first thing I'd do is take a thread dump.
