Question about alarms

Hello!

I like to ask a question. We like to send an email notification. Is it possible that the recipient confirms (acknowledges) the email by simple replying or so on?
How can it be solved that we can make sure that the alarm was received and acknowledged? Maybe sending another email to another person after a specific time!? Is Ignition able to handle this matter?

Unfortunately, Ignition’s email notification is one-way only. You can’t get an acknowledgement sent back through email. We are working on a new alarming system right now where this will be possible. We hope to release the new alarming system by the end of the 1st quarter in 2013.
